Fitness has been a huge part of my life for over 10 years. I have always worked in and around the gym business, and that has helped me stay connected to fitness through inspiring, competing and helping others. My first figure competition was the NPC Cornerstone Classic in 2003 where I took first and from there started my journey to becoming an IFBB Pro Figure Competitor. I competed actively through 2008 where I competed at the the 2008 Figure Olympia. Today I run and own Rock Fitness Center in Laredo Texas where I continue to help other athletes and people get in their best shape ever. I've also continued my journey with the IFBB as the promotor of my own show, The Battle on The Bay in Corpus Christi Texas and I am also a judge for the NPC in the state of Texas.

Off Season Training
As of late, I’ve been training a lot of High Intensity Interval Training HIIT. I found this training to be very challenging and something I enjoy very much. During my time preparing for competition, I never got to do this type of training because my focus was more on isolating muscle groups. Don’t get me wrong... I love dead lifting and squatting so I incorporate those exercises to HIIT circuits.
