Arnold’s Secret Weapon The “Pump”

If you’re in to building your body and creating the best physique possible then you’ve probably watched it a few times, especially when you were younger. ✋
It was undoubtedly “The Film” that brought Arnold Schwarzenegger to the attention of most Americans.
During one of his more memorable interviews, he talks about the “Muscle Pump” and how the only thing it can compare to is a Sexual Experience, no I’m not kidding! 😆
In fact, he goes on to describe it as the most incredible part of a workout.
This raises the question, Is the “Pump” really necessary to build muscle?
Does it really affect how big a muscle can get or is it simply just the result of blood filling tissue? 🩸
Science tells us that most muscle is built because of Tension. The more “Tension” a muscle is exposed to the more it is damaged and inevitably forced to repair itself and grow stronger.
It comes as no surprise then that the true goal of resistance-training should be to create as much tension on the muscle as possible. But what’s tension exactly? Tension is the force that a muscle creates when it’s under constant strain or pressure. (Lifting Weights.) 🏋️
The Pump is what is referred to “Intramuscular Pressure.” It’s the combination of fluids and metabolites that are forced into a muscle when it’s trained.
This starts a cascade of events that help support the process of muscular growth. 🧬🧬
In fact, the pump stretches the muscle to a point that causes certain hormones to be released,(GH and IGF-1)and activates their corresponding receptors on muscle tissue.
in Helping Stimulate Muscle Growth. 🔥
If you are training a muscle directly, and it’s being stimulated, then you should be getting a good pump.
If you’re not, then it’s probably because you’re not eating enough protein, carbohydrates, essential fats and/or drinking an adequate amount of water.
But, if you are getting a mean pump then it means you’re doing everything right and muscle growth is being prioritized by your body. 💯
Now, if you really want to “Optimize” this process then use a Nitric Oxide compound before you train to maximize blood flow and ensure the craziest pump possible.
-GlycerPump
Together these 3 ingredients help create what we refer to as the “Perpetual Pump,”this leaves your muscle tissue full, thick, and pumped for hours after your training session.
Take it from Arnold, nothing beats the Pump… besides, he’s Numero Uno! 💪
