What Would it Take to Look Like Thor?

I hope you had a great 4th of July Weekend.


After having just recently recovered from Covid I took full advantage of being negative and enjoyed some time with my family cooking out and setting off firecrackers!


It’s never a dull 4th of July when you live in the country and are surrounded by Patriotic Americans!  🤠

There’s always plenty of "Red, White and Blue" at our place!


After celebrating a little bit too hard, and eating a little too much, I’ve found it necessary to immerse myself back into training, diet, and supplementation. 🏋️

I’m not going to lie, Covid did a number on my body and I’m far from where I was a few months ago. I’m softer, weaker and have much less energy in the gym… but that’s about to change!

I’m about to embark on what I call The Thor Protocol! 😤
I’ve been watching the previews for the upcoming new Thor movie, "Thor: Love and Thunder", and I’m blown away with how good Thor (Chris Hemsworth) looks.

He’s thick, shredded and in ridiculous shape.
After seeing how much he’s improved his physique over the last few years I decided to put my experience to work and map out exactly what it would take to create a "Thor Like Physique!"

Let’s take it step by step:

Diet – The goal here would be to put on muscle while reducing body-fat.
This means plenty of lean protein, whole grains, vegetables and a reduction in processed carbohydrates and sugar. This along with some healthy fats should pretty much do the trick.

Training – This would include very intense strength training (with most sets going to failure) and some HIIT cardio to really shred down. Think sprints, sled pulls, battle ropes and assault bike.

Supplementation – I analyzed a ton of "Thor" interviews and articles that mention Chris’s routine, and this is what I could pull from them.

1. Pre-Workout – In order to push himself by an additional 10% Thor always uses pre-workouts before training. If you add up the effects of working 10% harder at each workout, it can end up making a massive difference in the long run.


2. Whey Protein – Thor has said that he uses a Meal Replacement for some of his meals, this most likely means Whey Isolate with a complex carb source. For example, this could simply be 2 Scoops of Pureline’s Isofactor along with 2 Scoops of Pureline’s BioFactor "Real Food" Carb Complex.
3. BCAA’s – Thor has been known to sip on BCAA’s throughout his workout to help improve recovery and aid in workout performance. This would be something like Pureline’s Intra-Amino which combines both EAA’s and BCAA’s in one formula.
4. Vitamins and Minerals – Thor would also use a Multi-Vitamin Mineral Pack like Pureline’s MV3 Pack. These "micro-nutrients" go to work to help improve recovery, build muscle, and improve energy and immunity. You would not want to train without them. 💊💊
5. Powerful Muscle Growth Product – Thor would use something like Pureline’s Testojet to help increase circulating Testosterone Levels. We all know that having more Testosterone makes it easier to build muscle and lose fat. Using Testojet for 4-8 weeks would make a massive difference in lean muscle growth and fat loss.
That’s a simple run-down of what "Thor" would do when preparing to defend the Galaxy from "Gorr the God Butcher" ☠️ or perhaps to look better for Miss Thor (Jane Foster.)
